The Role n

We are seeking an experienced Pasteuriser Forklift Operator to join an almond processing operation in Carwarp, VIC, within the agriculture and food processing industry. This hands-on role combines forklift operation, truck loading, and fixed plant machinery duties in a busy processing environment. You'll work as part of a safety-focused team, with full training provided on pasteurising and plant processes.

Key Responsibilities n

You'll support daily almond processing operations by safely operating forklifts and fixed plant equipment while assisting with product movement and loading.

- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently throughout the facility
n
- Load and unload trucks and move product as required
n
- Operate fixed plant and pasteurising machinery
n
- Monitor equipment and processing operations
n
- Complete manual handling and heavy lifting tasks
n
- Maintain clean and organised work areas
n
- Follow workplace health, safety, and operational procedures
n
- Competitive $34.76 per hour + penalty rates
n
- Long-term role for 12 months with potential for ongoing employment for the right candidate
n




- Consistent work with approximately 40 hours per week
n
- Full training provided across fixed plant and pasteurising operations
n
- Varied role combining forklift driving, truck loading, and machinery operation
n

Your Skills & Experience n

To be successful, you'll be an experienced forklift operator who is reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced processing environment.

- Required current Forklift Licence
n
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting
n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
n
- Reliable and flexible to work varied hours, up to six days per week
n
- Willingness to learn new machinery and processing procedures
n
- Solid commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
