Production Machine Operator - Immediate Start - Darra, QLD Location: Darra, QLD Pay Rate: $38.34/hr (Casual) Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing - Monday to Friday Hours: Shifts may vary, from 3:00am to 4:30pm Start Date: Immediate Start Available Employment Type: Casual with potential for permanent placement

About the Role You'll be operating tile manufacturing machinery to support the production of high-quality roofing materials. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who thrives in a team setting and is committed to maintaining high safety standards.

Key Tasks and Duties n

n
- Racker operation
n
- General clean up and maintenance of work area
n
- Profile change overs
n
- Fill out quality data sheets
n
- Oil level checks
n
- Monitoring raw material feed to identify and reject product
n
- Monitor extrusion process to ensure all tiles are made to standards
n




- Once trained, assist new operators
n
- Reset tile machine and start
n
- Fill sand bins if required (with relevant tickets)
n
- Ensure recycle conveyors are kept clean
n
- General asset care and maintenance
n
- Relieve of other positions as and if necessary
n

What We're Looking For nn
- Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation (preferred but not essential)
n
- Experience with machine operation (highly regarded)
n
- Good level of hand eye coordination and manual dexterity
n
- Basic computer literacy and ability to read/write effectively
n
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices
n
- Physically fit - must be able to pass a fitness assessment
n
- Reliable transport to Darra for early start - no public transport
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
n
