We’re looking for an experienced clinician who cares deeply about people, values genuine connection and wants to do meaningful therapeutic work within a supportive and collaborative team.
THE ROLE
We’re seeking either
Registered Counsellor – ACA Level 3 or above
OR
Social Worker with full AASW membership (for at least 3 years post qualification)
Part-time or full-time available.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications matter, but so does the human behind them.
We’re looking for someone who is warm, grounded and genuinely person-centred; trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming; confident working autonomously while valuing collaboration; and reliable, ethical and reflective in their practice.
Experience working with children, adolescents, families, neurodivergence, trauma, attachment, mental health and/or disability will be highly regarded.
WHY AWCAT?
We believe clinicians do their best work when they feel supported, valued and trusted.
You’ll join a multidisciplinary team with beautiful therapeutic spaces, strong administrative support, diverse referrals, career development opportunities and the freedom to bring your own therapeutic style to your work.
We’re professional without losing the human part.
We’re not looking for someone to simply fill a diary. We’re looking for the right person to join our team.
If that sounds like you, send your CV and a short cover letter to
[email protected] telling us who you are as a clinician and what matters to you in the work you do.
