Aged Care Nurse — Moonta SA (Full Time) Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 per annum

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Nurse to join a supportive residential aged care team on a full time basis. This position is offered through a specialist recruitment agency and is ideal for a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of three years' aged care experience.

The role focuses on delivering high quality, person centred care, clinical leadership, and mentoring while working in a close knit community setting on the Yorke Peninsula. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation consistent with best practice and regulatory standards. Administer medications, wound management, clinical interventions, and complex care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Lead and mentor nursing staff and carers, promoting professional development and continuous improvement. Support residents’ wellbeing through individualised care, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication with families and allied health professionals. Contribute to clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and resident outcomes.





What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and current Australian registration as a

General Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner. 3–6 years of relevant aged care experience with demonstrated clinical competence and leadership capability. Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, medication management, infection control, and aged care documentation systems.

Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with residents and families in a rural community context. Eligibility to work in Australia: Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa status including work or student visas.
