About the role

TRINITY PUBLIC CARE PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Aged Care Level 2 Plus to join our dedicated healthcare team in RANDWICK, NSW. This is a casual position offering flexibility whilst maintaining the highest standards of aged care nursing. As a Registered Nurse in our aged care facility, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, professional healthcare to our elderly residents, contributing significantly to their wellbeing, dignity and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

- Delivering direct nursing care to aged care residents, including assessment, monitoring and treatment of health conditions
- Conducting comprehensive health assessments and developing individualised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Administering medications safely and accurately, maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements
- Monitoring vital signs, identifying changes in residents' conditions and reporting concerns to appropriate medical professionals
- Providing wound care, managing catheterisation and performing other clinical procedures as required
- Supporting residents with activities of daily living and ensuring their comfort, safety and dignity at all times
- Maintaining explicit and accurate documentation of all care provided and resident progress
- Collaborating with doctors, allied health professionals and care staff to ensure coordinated, holistic care
- Educating residents and their families about health conditions, treatment plans and preventive care measures




- Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with infection control standards
- Contributing to a supportive team environment and mentoring junior nursing staff where appropriate

What we're looking for

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Demonstrated experience working in aged care settings, with evidence of Level 2 Plus competency or equivalent
- Strong clinical knowledge and practical skills in assessing and managing the health needs of elderly residents
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with residents, families and healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in electronic health records and healthcare information systems
- Understanding of aged care legislation, standards and best practice guidelines
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple residents' needs
- A commitment to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current CPR certification and First Aid qualifications
- Police clearance and Working With Children Check (WWCC) as required by law
- A genuine passion for aged care and commitment to supporting the dignity and wellbeing of older people
