Base salary range: $44.27 - $56.79 p.h.

4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients,



anaesthetists and nursing staff within the Operating Theatre to ensure the delivery of best-practice and quality patient care.

The Townsville University Hospital Operating Theatre comprises 15 operating theatres, including a Hybrid Theatre, and provides services across a range of surgical specialties. The Anaesthetic team also provides support to outlying departments including Medical Imaging, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Brachytherapy and Mental Health.

A combination of 10, 9 and 6-hour shifts are rostered to provide anaesthetic nursing coverage across theatre lists, with participation in continuous shift work and the on-call roster required.
