Foothills Medical is a second-generation family-owned practice serving the hills region and beyond. We’re a progressive and growing practice, steadily expanding over the past 5 years from a 2 FTE practice to welcoming our 8th GP on board next year. Fresh extensions to being a larger practice just completed.

We are seeking a Practice Nurse (RN) who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised to join our genuinely friendly team of clinical and administration staff.

We offer flexible schedule of approximately 15 – 20 hours per week and able to cover holiday/sick relief when required The applicant must be able to work within a small team and meet the following:

- General Practice experience preferred
- Knowledge of Best Practice
- Computer literate




- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Able to work autonomously
- Dedicated and enthusiastic work ethic

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- General treatment room duties
- Immunisation
- Wound care and dressing
- ECG, Spirometry and iron infusion
- Chronic disease management, care plans and health assessments
- Patient triaging
- Delivering patients education needs
- Coordinating the patient recalls and reminder system
- Implementing practice infection control and sterilisation
- Cold chain management

Essential Requirements:
- Current APRHA registration
- Current Immunisation Certificate
- Current CPR
- Australian/Permanent residence
