As our Night Shift Registered Nurse, you'll be the steady hand and calm voice that helps residents feel safe and supported through the quieter hours of the night. While the rest of the city sleeps, you'll be making a real difference, whether that's providing clinical care, responding to a health concern, or simply offering reassurance when someone needs it most.

What a typical night might look like:

- Deliver safe, personalised care that puts residents' individual needs, choices, and wellbeing at the centre of everything you do.
- Monitor resident health and wellbeing, completing assessments and responding to changes when required.
- Administer medications and provide evidence-based nursing care.
- Offer reassurance, support, and a calm presence throughout the night.
- Work collaboratively with care staff while confidently managing responsibilities independently.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handovers to ensure continuity of care across shifts.

What you’ll bring:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in aged care, mental health, community, disability, or complex care settings (highly regarded but not essential).
- A sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and person-centred care principles.




- Solid clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with residents, families, and colleagues.
- The confidence to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
- A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and making a positive impact in people's lives.

About Us For 60 years, St Bart’s has supported people experiencing homelessness and severe and persistent mental health issues as they rebuild their lives. We started as a small homeless shelter for men and have grown into a progressive and inclusive organisation providing support to hundreds of Western Australian men, women and families across four key service areas.
