Hope Skin Cancer & GP Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our team on a casual basis.
About the role The successful applicant will work alongside our doctors and clinical team, assisting with the day-to-day delivery of high-quality patient care in a busy GP and skin cancer clinic.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting doctors with patient care and clinical procedures
- Wound care and dressings
- Supporting skin cancer procedures
- Immunisations and injections
- Health assessments and care plans
- Taking patient observations and assisting with clinical assessments
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Supporting the general operations of the nursing team
About you We are looking for someone who is:
- Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Reliable,
professional and compassionate
- Confident working independently as well as part of a team
- Patient-focused and committed to providing high-quality care
- Previous GP, practice nursing or skin cancer experience is desirable but not essential
