About the Role n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Providing person-centred support based on each participant’s individual needs and goals.
n
- Supporting people with high physical support needs and complex disabilities.
n
- Implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
n
- Supporting participants to develop and maintain independent living skills.
n
- Promoting choice, dignity, rights and independence.
n
- Completing accurate documentation, including incident, behaviour, hazard and maintenance reports.
n
- Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
- Working collaboratively with participants, families, colleagues and the broader NDIS support team.
n

What We're Looking For n

We are looking for candidates who:

n

n
- Have experience supporting people with high physical support needs.
n
- Are available for sleepover shifts regularly.
n
- Are flexible and available to work a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.
n




- Hold a Certificate III in Community Services, Individual Support or equivalent.
n
- Hold a valid Queensland Driver Licence.
n
- Hold a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
n
- Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
n

n

Experience with high physical support is highly desirable.
