Australian Paddlesteamers Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Vessel Master up to 45m to join our team in Echuca, Victoria. This full time role will see you as a Master of one of our iconic paddlesteamers, ensuring safe and enjoyable voyages for our passengers.

What you'll be doing

Delivering safe navigatation and mooring of one of our vessels, ensuring the highest safety at all times of our people, passengers and assets

Contributing to all aspects of vessels operations, including maintenance, crew management and passenger safety

Ensuring compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and company policies

Providing exceptional customer service to passengers

Maintaining detailed logbooks and records

Collaborating with the broader operations team to continually improve processes and efficiencies

Working either on our Overnight vessel and/or our Daily operations.

What we're looking for

Experience as a Vessel Master up to 45m

Preferred with MED qualifications, not essential however, we will invest in the right individual.

Thorough understanding of maritime regulations and procedures.

Excellent navigational,



seamanship and vessel handling skills.

Strong customer service orientation and communication abilities.

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

Passion for Australia's maritime heritage and working with people.

Pride in personal presentation and speaking skills for onboard commentary
