Groundskeeper - Full-time 6-month fixed term contract

Sporties Barooga is looking for a reliable and motivated Groundskeeper to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

This is a great prospect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high-quality gardens, grounds and outdoor spaces. You’ll play an important role in keeping the Sporties grounds looking their best for our members, guests, golfers and the wider community.

About the Role

As our Groundskeeper,



you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of our gardens, lawns and outdoor areas. This will include general grounds maintenance, operating groundskeeping equipment and ensuring our outdoor spaces are safe, clean and well presented.

The role will suit someone who is hands‑on, takes pride in their work and can work independently while also being part of the wider Sporties team.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, gardening or general garden maintenance, or a willingness to learn.

The ability to safely operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.

A genuine passion for outdoor spaces and maintaining high-quality grounds and gardens.

A reliable, self‑motivated approach and the ability to work independently.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and presentation standards.

Good communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude.

Availability to work a7-day roster, including approximately one weekend per month.
