About the Role n

CareSouth is seeking a Caseworker to join our team in WaggaWagga on either a full time or part-time basis, in a fixed-termposition up to 30 June 2027.

As a Caseworker you will be a part of a team which worksdynamically across the child protection spectrum, from familypreservation, permanency support, restoration and adoption.

You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationshipswith children, young people and families, while working alongsidecolleagues and community partners to support positive andsustainable outcomes.

What yo uneed to be successful in your role: n

n
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, youngpeople and people with a disability.
n




- A Degree in Social Work or Psychology or Diploma in SocialSciences/Social Welfare or equivalent qualification, or workingtowards one.
n
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues facing vulnerablechildren and their families.
n
- Sound interpersonal, facilitation and conflict resolutionskills.
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a highperforming team.
n
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effectivecommunity networks.
n
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communicationskills.
n
- Understanding and commitment to Equal EmploymentOpportunity, Work Health and Safety, Cultural issues and theNSW Child Protection system.
n
- Current driver’s licence.
n
- Willing to undergo a National Police Clearance, and obtaina (NSW) Working with Children Check clearance number and NDISWorkers Clearance.
