We're a fast-growing public affairs firm that is growing our corporate and political research team. We combine senior political experience with rigorous research to help organisations influence policy, manage risk and achieve lasting impact. We work with a diverse range of clients across Western Australia, nationally and internationally on complex stakeholder, communications and public perception projects. Using a full suite of qualitative and quantitative methods, we help clients understand and shape public opinion. With increasing demand across the corporate and political sectors, this is an opportunity to join a collaborative national team from Perth, do meaningful work and help strengthen our presence in WA.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct and moderate focus groups and qualitative interviews for corporate clients, with business stakeholders and community participants, both online and in person in Perth and across Western Australia.
- Develop discussion guides and other qualitative research materials.
- Prepare topline summaries, analysis and detailed reporting.
- Produce high-quality written reports and PowerPoint presentations.
- Lead qualitative research projects end-to-end, including client communication, timeline management and project delivery.
- Liaise directly with corporate clients and senior stakeholders across Western Australia and nationally, including executive leadership teams.
- Work with clients across issue management, communications, stakeholder engagement, client experience, public perception, community engagement and social licence projects.




- Analyse insights and contribute to strategic recommendations and high-impact reporting.
- Share insights with the team, contribute to research design and support broader business growth, including client relationships and opportunities in Western Australia.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced consulting environment.

About you

- Demonstrated experience conducting qualitative research for corporate or stakeholder-focused clients.
- Strong experience facilitating online and in-person focus groups and qualitative interviews.
- Experience developing discussion guides, topline summaries and strategic insight reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid analytical capability, with the ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Confidence engaging with senior managers, CEOs and executive leadership teams.
- Robust project management capability and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset, with the ability to work autonomously from Perth while collaborating closely with the wider team.
- A strong interest in WA issues, politics, business and broader social issues, alongside national and international developments.
- Comfortable working in a flexible and fast-moving environment, including regular evening focus groups.
- This role may suit someone from a medium or large market research agency working as a Senior Qualitative Researcher, or someone who has worked client-side within a corporate research or insights team.
