We're looking for a commercially savvy Procurement Specialist to join our growing team in Dandenong South. About the Role

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of smaller and mid-tier categories that are critical to the day-to-day operation of our business.

You’ll work closely with Operations, Finance, Quality and New Product Development, while building strong commercial relationships with suppliers and contributing to broader procurement initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Own and manage an assigned portfolio of procurement categories end-to-end.
- Develop and implement sourcing and category strategies.
- Lead supplier negotiations, pricing reviews and commercial agreements.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, specification optimisation and supplier rationalisation.
- Build and maintain solid supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
- Work with Operations and Planning to maintain supply continuity and manage supply chain risks.
- Support inventory optimisation and working capital initiatives.
- Maintain accurate procurement,



pricing and contract information across ERP and procurement systems.
- Ensure supplier and procurement activities meet GWF governance, food safety, quality and ethical sourcing requirements.
- Identify and implement practical process improvements across procurement.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is commercially astute, highly organised and enjoys taking ownership.

You’ll be comfortable managing multiple categories and competing priorities, while maintaining strong attention to detail and building trusted relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Ideally, you will have:

- 3-5 years’ experience in procurement/category roles within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple categories and suppliers, balancing priorities and operational requirements.
- Strong capability in supplier sourcing, negotiation and contract management.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.
- High attention to detail with a strong governance and compliance mindset.
- A tertiary qualification in business, procurement or another relevant discipline.
