Support People Through Withdrawal, Recovery and Lasting Change At Lives Lived Well, we support people experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges, mental health concerns and complex life circumstances to build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Wyla provides live-in withdrawal and rehabilitation support for adults based at the Bloomfield Hospital Campus just outside Orange, helping people prepare for recovery beyond their residential stay.

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis.

Working alongside AOD Clinicians, Treatment Facilitators and Support Workers, you'll play a vital role in supporting people through withdrawal and the early stages of their recovery journey in a safe, supportive and therapeutic setting.

Your Opportunity

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and health support to people participating in residential withdrawal and rehabilitation programs.





You will provide evidence-informed nursing care to people experiencing alcohol and other drug dependency, mental health concerns and co-occurring health conditions while supporting clients throughout their withdrawal and recovery journey.

Key responsibilities include:

- Health assessments and nursing interventions.
- Withdrawal monitoring and support.
- Medication administration and management.
- Care planning and clinical documentation.
- Client intake, admissions and transitions into treatment.
- Liaison with GPs, pharmacists and other healthcare providers.
- Health education and therapeutic support activities.
- Supporting a positive and recovery-focused team culture.

As a residential service, shifts will be available across mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver person-centred nursing care.
- Strong communication, assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain).

Highly regarded:
- Experience in alcohol and other drug services.
- Experience in mental health,



primary health, community health, correctional health or residential care settings.
- Experience supporting people experiencing complex health and social needs.
