The Park Private Hospital is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses to join our perioperative team. Positions will be offered for casual hours to be negotiated with the successful candidates. The successful candidates must be able to work a variety of shifts, Monday – Friday.

A minimum of 12 months' scrub / scout / PACU experience is preferable in order for you to be considered.

The successful candidate will have:

- A willingness to embrace the mission and values of The Park Private Hospital.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Recent experience and clinical skills in the perioperative setting.
- Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant acts, codes and standards relevant to current practice.
- Ability to foster teamwork and work cohesively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Well-developed skills to organise and prioritise workload.
- Work in accordance with ACORN standards, in order to maintain a high standard of evidence-based patient care excellence.
- Knowledge and experience in the Quality Improvement Cycle and patient safety initiatives.
- Category A Health Care Worker - Immunisation Screening and Evidence

Desirable:

- Min. 3 years theatre experience
- Maxillofacial and/or Plastic Surgery experience
- Experience as a multi-skilled perioperative nurse including Anaesthesia and PACU.
- Completion of Post Grad course in Perioperative Nursing.
