As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you'll work alongside the physiotherapy team to provide high-quality, evidence-based treatment for a diverse client base — from weekend warriors and runners to office workers managing chronic tension. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with physios on shared client care, contributing to genuinely integrated treatment plans. The role requires some late finishes (7pm) as well as regular Saturday morning hours.
Key responsibilities
- Provide remedial massage treatments tailored to each client's needs
- Conduct client assessments and maintain accurate clinical notes
- Work collaboratively with the physiotherapy team on shared treatment plans
- Educate clients on self-management, stretching, and recovery strategies
- Help build a loyal client base through excellent care and communication
About you
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Remedial Massage (or equivalent qualification)
- Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in client outcomes
- Registration with Health Funds preferred
- Experience working alongside allied health professionals highly regarded, but not essential
