Our Clients

Our clients are a growing accounting and advisory firm working with clubs, hospitality, manufacturing, labour hire, tech and various other industries across accounting, tax, payroll and governance.

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to take on a broad, client-facing role: supporting CFO advisory engagements, managing our offshore accounting team, owning client deliverables, and preparing financial statements, tax returns, other tax compliance and tax advisory. This role reports directly to the Director and suits someone who wants genuine client responsibility rather than a narrow compliance seat.

Key Responsibilities

CFO Advisory Support

- Assist the Director on CFO advisory engagements across clubs, hospitality, manufacturing, labour hire, tech and various other industries — management reporting, budgeting, cash flow and business performance analysis
- Prepare board and management reporting packs and support client-facing meetings

Offshore Team Management

- Manage and mentor an offshore accounting team, allocating work, reviewing output and maintaining quality and turnaround standards
- Act as the day-to-day link between offshore staff and Australian client engagements

Client Deliverables

- Own delivery for a portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping, payroll and compliance work, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Review work prepared by junior and offshore staff before it goes to clients or the Director

Tax Compliance





- Prepare and review income tax returns, activity statements and other compliance lodgements for individuals, companies and trusts
- Support tax planning and advisory work as needed

About You

- CA or CPA qualified (or final stages of completion)
- 5+ years' experience in public practice or a client-facing accounting/advisory role
- Comfortable preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and not-for-profits/clubs
- Experience managing or working closely with an offshore team, with robust review and delegation skills
- Confident communicator, able to run client conversations independently
- Practical experience with Xero, MYOB and Employment Hero; exposure to industries such as clubs, hospitality, manufacturing, labour hire or tech is a plus
- Organised and deadline-driven, with the judgement to prioritise across a multi-client portfolio
