About Us

JK Facilities Management provides professional building and facilities services to residential apartment buildings across Melbourne. We focus on consistency, reliability, and maintaining clean, well-presented living environments for residents.

We are currently seeking a Residential Cleaner to maintain the common areas of an apartment complex in South Yarra.

Key Responsibilities

- Cleaning common areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and shared spaces
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning floors
- Cleaning and maintaining common area windows and glass surfaces
- Emptying, sanitising, and managing bins in shared areas
- Dusting and wiping handrails, fixtures, doors, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising shared restrooms where applicable
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to the Building Manager
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Following a written cleaning checklist and working independently on site

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience (residential or commercial)
- Ability to work independently and follow written instructions
- Understanding of safe chemical use and basic workplace safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance
- Physically capable of completing routine cleaning tasks




- Must hold legal working rights in Australia
- ABN required (this role is contractor-based)
