Due to growth in the region Shine Bright is seeking a People and Culture Coordinator to join the Loddon Campaspe Team. Based in Bendigo the People and Culture Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Shine Bright?s mission and strategic goals through the delivery of high-quality HR and OHS functions.

In this role, you will coordinate recruitment and onboarding for the Bendigo, Campaspe and Ovens Murray region, maintain HR systems and employee records, support staff with HR matters, and contribute to organisational development initiatives. You will also provide technical advice on employment matters and support the administration of OHS processes.

This is a fast-paced, and highly rewarding role where you will make a meaningful difference every day. This role will require travel and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment across the organisation, including drafting job ads, shortlisting, scheduling interviews and completing reference checks.
- Facilitate onboarding for staff and trainees, ensuring accurate setup and maintenance of HR files and systems.
- Prepare employment contracts, variations and manage employee records in accordance with compliance requirements.
- Provide tailored advice on employment terms and general HR matters.
- Support performance management and disciplinary processes, ensuring adherence to relevant industrial instruments and internal policies.
- Assist in the development and review of policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, attending expos and strengthening stakeholder relationships to enhance recruitment strategies.
- Coordinate OH&S; administrative functions, including WorkCover claims, incident and near-miss reporting, and health and wellbeing initiatives.

About You

You will be a motivated and people-focused HR professional who thrives in a wide-ranging role. You will bring:

- A Diploma or Degree (or working towards)



in Human Resources or related discipline, or relevant work experience.
- Strong experience delivering effective HR administration and support services.
- Knowledge of HR best practice, recruitment processes and relevant employment legislation including the Fair Work Act, VECTEA, CSA and Educational Services awards (or similar awards).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and assist staff through supported conversations.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and confidence working across multiple systems.
- A current Police Check, Employee Working With Children Check, and a valid drivers licence.
- Experience in early childhood education (Kindergarten or Long Day Care) is advantageous but not essential.
