Farm Pride is looking for a practical, safety-focused and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our Farms Group. This hands-on role offers plenty of variety as you help keep our farm buildings, equipment, fences and essential infrastructure operating safely and efficiently across various sites.

We are a major grower and processor of eggs and value-added egg products operating 9 company farms on the east coast and maintaining 2 major grading and processing facilities.

About the role

Farm Pride is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Maintenance Worker to maintain buildings, equipment and infrastructure across our farm sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Carry out preventative maintenance, routine inspections and practical improvement projects
- Repair and maintain farm buildings, structures, egg collection systems and equipment.
- Assist with basic plumbing, carpentry and mechanical repairs
- Operate farm machinery, power tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Help maintain clean, organised and safe workshops, vehicles and work areas
- Complete maintenance records and report equipment issues or supply needs
- Follow all safety, biosecurity, environmental and bird welfare requirements





About You

You enjoy practical work, take pride in doing things properly and can confidently work both independently and as part of a team. You bring a positive attitude, sound judgement and a robust commitment to safety.

- Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry knowledge
- Experience safely operating and maintaining machinery, tools or equipment
- Good communication, problem-solving, organisational and record-keeping skills
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in indoor and outdoor farm environments
- The ability to follow instructions and respond calmly to changing priorities
- Sound OHS knowledge and
- Valid full Australian driver's licence
- Able to travel and some overnight away stays required
