Role Overview:

As a Quality Control Inspector at Parratech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will assist in managing and overseeing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain quality control systems to ensure all site activities meet the required standards and specifications.
- Conduct inspections, assessment of materials and components at various stages of production, and construction to identify potential quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify and report on non-conformances
- Conduct quality audits to assess conformance and identify improvement areas.
- Manage Documentation in a systematic manner
- Ensure 100% compliance to agreed customer specifications for all products and processes.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality records, reports, and documentation to track project progress and compliance.
- Collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and welders to resolve quality issues and improve welding / fabrication processes
- Developing and implementing quality control plans (ITP’s & ITR’s) to identify and address welding / fabrication & assembly defects




- Work closely with the Quality Manager and other relevant team members to promote quality best practices and address any quality concerns.
- Liaise with suppliers and ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards, procedures and tools.
- Assist in initiatives to continuously improve quality processes, reduce defects, and enhance overall project delivery.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and company policies.

Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector within the construction or manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing / construction and industry practices, materials, safety regulations, and quality management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Highly organised and ability to manage time and priorities.
- Welding inspector/supervisor qualification or equivalent
- Welding/fabrication/Boilermaker experience
