River House 4215 is a waterfront dining venue located on the Nerang River in Southport. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team in a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will oversee the restaurant's daily operations, lead our service team and help ensure an outstanding experience for every guest. Key responsibilities

- Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and service.
- Manage the restaurant's profitable, efficient and safe operation.
- Work with kitchen staff to develop and implement suitable menus.
- Manage operational budgets and performance targets.
- Ensure food, beverage and operational supplies are ordered efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate stock-movement records.
- Account for financial transactions and reconcile daily figures.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety and food-safety requirements.
- Oversee the restaurant's presentation, functionality and reservation systems.
- Build rapport with customers and consistently exceed their expectations.
- Recruit, select,



train and develop restaurant staff.
- Manage and supervise front-of-house and kitchen employees to maintain the required service standards.
- Assist with staff rostering, performance management and daily operational planning.

Skills and experience
- A Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- At least one year of relevant experience in a Restaurant Manager or comparable hospitality-management role.
- Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a busy restaurant environment.
- Sound understanding of stock control, budgeting and financial reconciliation.
- Knowledge of applicable food-safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- A solid commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
- Availability to work the restaurant's required roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
