Crescendo Music is an established independent music retailer in Perth, providing musical instruments, accessories, sheet music and specialist advice to musicians of all ages and abilities.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic full time Retail Sales & Stock Control Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position combining customer service and sales with the day-to-day organisation and control of stock on the retail floor.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a retail environment organised, enjoys helping customers, and is comfortable learning about a wide range of musical instruments and products.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Assisting customers in-store and providing friendly, knowledgeable service
- Recommending suitable instruments, accessories and products based on customers' needs and budgets
- Processing sales and payments through our POS system
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with regular stock checks
- Receiving, labelling, organising and replenishing stock
- Ensuring products are correctly displayed and priced
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying discrepancies
- Keeping the showroom, displays and retail areas clean, organised and presentable
- Learning our product ranges and developing strong product knowledge
- Assisting with general day-to-day retail operations
- Working collaboratively with our sales,



online fulfilment and operations teams

About You We would love to hear from someone who:
- Has strong customer service and communication skills
- Is confident speaking with customers and recommending products
- Is organised and pays close attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work
- Is comfortable using computers and learning POS and inventory systems
- Can work independently while also being part of a team
- Takes initiative when stock, displays or the showroom need attention
- Has a genuine interest in music and musical instruments
- Is looking for a stable, long-term full-time position

Previous retail or music retail experience would be highly regarded, but we are also open to the right person who is enthusiastic, capable and willing to learn. Pay: $26.44 – $47.93 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
