We are currently seeking a Village Manager to join our Retirement Living team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our independent living village across 3 villages in Macksville and Nambucca Heads. We are looking for a strong leader who genuinely enjoys building community and making a difference in the lives of others. You will bring empathy, professionalism, and a proactive attitude to every part of your work.

About the Role

Reporting to the Area Manager - Retirement Living, you will lead the operations of a retirement village, fostering a vibrant, safe, and welcoming community for our residents. You will play a key role in resident engagement, village operations, staff leadership, and compliance-ensuring our high standards and values are upheld every day.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retirement village.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and staff.
- Oversee maintenance, grounds, cleaning, and contractor services.
- Contribute to budget planning and financial performance.
- Support sales activity to maintain optimal village occupancy (95–100%).




- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and reporting requirements.
- Organise resident services, community activities and healthy living programs.
- Welcome and orient new residents to the village community.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated leadership and staff management experience desirable.
- Robust client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage operational budgets.
- Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in aged care, retirement living or similar.
- Knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act (desirable).
- Sales or customer service background
