Role Description The Rostering (NDIS) role at Rainbow Hollow Services is a contract, on-site/Hybrid position based in North East , SA. The role is responsible for creating, managing, and adjusting staff/client rosters to ensure appropriate coverage for in-home support, community access, transport, and psychosocial coaching services in line with NDIS plans and participant needs.

Day-to-day tasks include coordinating shifts, responding to short-notice changes, managing availability and leave, and communicating roster updates clearly to support workers and participants. The role involves closely liaising with service coordinators and support teams to maintain continuity of care, address gaps in service delivery, and uphold compliance with NDIS requirements and organizational policies. The Rostering officer will also maintain accurate records, use rostering and scheduling software,



and contribute to process improvements that enhance service efficiency and participant experience.

Required to work Tues & Thurs onsite 9 am to 4 pm ( 1/2 hour break) and 2 hours per week from

Home ( managing emails or extra roster needs)

(Total hours 30 hours a fortnight)

Qualifications

- Experience with rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination in disability, community, or health services.
- Knowledge of the NDIS environment, including participant-centred support, service delivery requirements, and compliance expectations.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in managing multiple rosters.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff, participants, and families.
- Proficiency in using rostering or scheduling software, and basic computer skills including email, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Ability to problem-solve under time pressure, manage last-minute changes, and maintain a calm, professional approach.
- Understanding of psychosocial disabilities, neurodiversity, and trauma-informed practice is highly regarded.
- Relevant qualification in disability support, community services, administration, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening (or Police Check within 12 months), and any required local clearances.
- Commitment to person-centred, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of rostering and service coordination.
