About the Role

As a Safety Advisor with Core HS,



you will play a key role in supporting operational teams with safety compliance, risk management, hazard identification, and field-based safety initiatives within remote mining and resources environments.

You will work closely with crews, supervisors and site leadership to maintain safe work practices, support site safety systems, and contribute to positive safety outcomes across adhoc, relief, shutdown and project-based engagements.

What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you will hold:

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety / OHS, or equivalent

Current First Aid Certificate

Current CPR Certificate

Work Safely at Heights

Enter and Work in Confined Spaces

Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing

Current Manual Driver’s Licence

Current National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in mining, shutdown, construction or operational safety roles

Experience providing site-based safety support in operational environments

Strong hazard identification, risk assessment and control experience

Confident engaging with crews, supervisors and site management

Understanding of permits, isolations and site safety systems

Ability to mobilise quickly and work independently

Strong communication, reporting and documentation skills

Highly Regarded

ICAM Investigation

Underground mining experience

UGSAR / BG4

Previous FIFO shutdown or project experience
