Sales Consultant – In-Home Consultations

Hire700 Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Melbourne-based home improvement business to recruit an experienced Sales Consultant.

This is a client-facing sales role suited to someone who is confident meeting customers, understanding their needs, presenting solutions and closing sales.

You will be joining an established business with a strong reputation, existing lead flow and a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career.

The role will involve:

- Attending qualified customer appointments
- Providing professional in-home consultations
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions
- Preparing accurate quotes
- Following up opportunities and closing sales
- Maintaining accurate customer and sales records
- Providing a high level of customer service throughout the sales process

We are looking for someone who has:

- Proven experience in sales
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills




- Confidence dealing directly with customers
- Good organisational and follow-up skills
- A professional presentation
- A current driver licence
- The ability to work independently and manage appointments effectively

Experience in home improvement, building products, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, window furnishings, furniture, automotive, real estate or other consultative sales environments would be highly regarded, but solid sales ability is more important than industry experience.
