Sales Executive – Industrial Location: Richlands, Brisbane QLD

Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 + Super

Employment: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity An established national supplier of industrial products is looking for an experienced Sales Executive – Industrial to join its Brisbane operation in Richlands.

This is an external sales role focused on developing and growing relationships across Brisbane and South East Queensland's industrial market.

We're looking for someone who understands industrial customers – manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, maintenance, transport, mining services and similar environments – and knows how to build genuine, long-term commercial relationships.

We're interested in people selling industrial supplies, engineering products, tooling, abrasives, cutting products, welding/fabrication consumables, MRO, safety/PPE or associated products .

About The Business You'll be joining a well-established, Australian-owned national organisation supplying an extensive range of products into the industrial, engineering, manufacturing and construction markets.

The wider business has a significant national branch network and an extensive product portfolio covering thousands of products across fasteners, industrial supplies, tooling and associated consumables.

The business supports customers ranging from local engineering and fabrication companies through to major manufacturing, mining, infrastructure and industrial organisations.

This is a fast-moving, service-led environment where availability, technical knowledge and strong customer relationships are key.





The Role Working from the Richlands branch and out in the market, you'll take ownership of developing industrial sales across Brisbane and the surrounding region.

This is not a role where you'll sit behind a desk waiting for enquiries.

You'll be expected to get out into the market, understand your customers' operations, identify opportunities and develop relationships that generate repeat business.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Developing recent business across Brisbane and South East Queensland
- Managing and growing existing industrial accounts
- Identifying prospective customers and proactively opening new accounts
- Conducting regular customer and site visits
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate products and solutions
- Developing relationships with purchasing, operations, maintenance, workshop and management teams
- Preparing quotations and negotiating commercial agreements
- Identifying opportunities to increase product penetration within existing accounts
- Maintaining an active sales pipeline and following opportunities through to completion
- Working closely with internal sales, warehouse and operational teams




- Providing a high level of service and developing long-term customer relationships
- Achieving agreed revenue, margin and business development targets

Products The product range is broad and includes areas such as:

- Fasteners and fixings
- Industrial supplies
- Abrasives
- Cutting and drilling products
- Hand and power tools
- Sealants and adhesives
- Lubricants and chemicals
- Safety and PPE
- Lifting and materials handling products
- Engineering and workshop consumables

You don't need to know every product from day one. Strong industrial sales experience, commercial ability and the capacity to learn a technical product range are more important. About You We're looking for an experienced B2B salesperson who is comfortable walking into an industrial business, understanding how they operate and spotting opportunities.

- Proven B2B external sales experience
