Regal Mushrooms is looking for a reliable and hardworking Prepack Operator to join our Post-Harvest team at our mushroom farm in Londonderry.

This is a hands-on role working as part of our prepack team to prepare freshly harvested mushrooms for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced production environment where quality, food safety, teamwork and attention to detail are important.

The Roster

This position works a rotating 4 days on / 2 days off roster, which includes weekend work. As the roster continually rotates, your working days will change from week to week.

This is a day shift position generally commences at 7:00am. Some flexibility with finish times may be required depending on production and customer requirements.

About the Role

- Loading and catching mushroom punnets on the packing line
- Checking and correcting punnet weights
- Carefully handling freshly harvested mushrooms
- Preparing trays, cardboard boxes and other packaging
- Moving stock between the prepack and main coolrooms




- Wrapping and labelling pallets ready for distribution
- Completing required production and food safety paperwork
- Keeping the prepack area and equipment clean, safe and organised
- Following food safety, Freshcare and workplace safety procedures

- Is reliable, punctual and enjoys working as part of a team

- Has solid attention to detail
- Is flexible and willing to assist wherever required
- Uses good manual handling techniques
- Can follow instructions, procedures and food safety requirements
- Has basic spoken and written English
- Is comfortable undertaking physical, hands-on work
