A leading national Brokerage with an incredibly strong reputation is seeking a Senior Claims Consultant to join their CBD team. As a Senior Claims Consultant, you will handle a mixed portfolio of including complex matters while providing advise and guidance to others as well as working closely with brokers.

Key Responsibilities

- Management of a portfolio of mixed commercial claims, with a focus on property and casualty.
- Determine the nature of the loss and coverage provided, then effectively negotiate, and investigate each claim while communicating with all relevant parties.
- Point of contact for all complex matters.
- Review claims and provide information relating to claim tends to senior leaders.
- Provide advise and technical support to the wider claims team when required.
- Provide advice on coverage.
- Proactively drive claim progress.




- Interpret policy wording and review of circumstance to ensure coverage is maximised.
- Provide structured claim solutions.
- Liaise with clients, external service providers and other insurance organisations.

Key Requirements

- Experience managing a portfolio of mixed claims from a broker or insurance organisation.
- Strong working knowledge of property and casualty claims.
- Strong understanding of complex claim matters.
- Effective communication, negotiation, dispute resolution and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to build a solid rapport with insurers, brokers, and clients.
- Confident in your ability to effectively manage the claims process and all relevant parties.
- Experience IDR and AFCA disputes would be advantageous.
- Experience identifying and managing potential coverage issues.
- Ability to take ownership while working to tight deadlines.
- Team focused attitude with the proven ability to guide less experienced claims consultants.
