We're looking for a Production Manager / Event Producer to work on the operational delivery of Ghost in The Rocks 2026, a four-night festival across October 29 - November 1 at The Rocks, Sydney. This is a permanent Sydney-based role starting October 6, 2026. You'll own logistics, supplier management, planning, compliance, and financial tracking. This is a hands-on role. You'll work alongside our Head of Production, manage contractors and sit in the operational decision-making loop. You'll also support planning for our other activations as the year progresses.

Key responsibilities

- Logistics: bump in - out and day-of delivery
- Supplier management: negotiating contracts, managing timelines, solving problems as they surface
- Planning: build schedules, risk mitigation, contingency planning, and detailed run-of-show
- Compliance: safety, accessible access, and regulatory requirements
- Financial tracking: Cost control, and reporting

About you

- At least five years' experience delivering large public events (festivals, concerts, outdoor activations, or similar scale)
- Robust experience with event logistics and site management




- Strong experience with supplier negotiation and contract management
- Strong experience with health and safety compliance in public events
- Strong experience with budget management and financial reporting
- Strong experience with vendor and contractor coordination
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and project management tools (Asana experience preferred but trainable)
- Comfortable with complexity, move fast, and don't panic when something breaks at 4pm
- Organised but flexible with a can do attitude
- Communicate clearly across teams
