CFL Permits is a Building Surveying Group providing building inspections, permits and consulting services throughout Melbourne and Victoria. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Building Inspector to be part of our close and dedicated team.

About the role

As a Building Inspector, you will undertake inspections on behalf of CFL Building Surveyors and ensure effective building practices are adhered to as required by mandated Victorian legislation and Australian codes and standards.

Specifically, you will:

- Carry out mandatory and advisory inspections.




- Provide inspection reports/ results elaborating with our supportive admin team.
- Converse with Relevant Building Surveyor when required.

About you

Must be registered as a Building Inspector – Limited to Unlimited (Please do not apply unless you are registered).

- Demonstrate knowledge of the provisions of Building Act 1993, Building Regulations 2018 and other relevant Acts, Codes and Australian standards.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills and ability to multi task.
