About the role

We are looking for a Sales Representative (Industrial Products) to grow and manage business-to-business sales of our specialised safety products, equipment and related services. Working from our Garbutt workplace and out in your territory, you will build relationships with client businesses, understand their safety needs, and match them to the right solutions.

What you'll be doing

- Building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective client businesses using directories and other sources.
- Developing and maintaining solid product and commercial knowledge of our range, our competitors and market conditions.
- Visiting regular and prospective clients to identify and act on selling opportunities.
- Assessing customer needs, then recommending and explaining suitable products and services.
- Monitoring changing customer needs and competitor activity,



and reporting these to sales management.
- Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, completing contracts and recording orders.
- Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and provision of services.
- Following up with clients to confirm satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Preparing sales reports and maintaining records of business expenses.

What you'll bring

- Relevant qualifications or industry experience in technical or industrial sales.
- Sound product and commercial knowledge, with the ability to explain technical solutions to business customers.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Full working rights in Australia.

What we offer

- Base salary of $84,000 per annum plus superannuation, paid weekly.
- Uncapped commission/performance incentives on top of base.
- A fully maintained company vehicle for client visits and territory coverage.
- Full-time, ongoing role, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Pay: Up to $82,500.00 per year
