About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Automation & AI Specialist for a contract opportunity in Sydney. The role will focus on Salesforce testing and automation, while also contributing to the adoption of AI within software testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing of Salesforce applications and solutions.
- Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts.
- Work with Selenium and C#/.NET or similar technologies for test automation.
- Explore and apply AI use cases to improve testing and automation processes.
- Develop effective AI prompts, patterns and guardrails for testing.
- Share AI use cases, learnings and best practices with the wider testing team.
- Collaborate with developers, testers and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation across testing practices.
- Support testing activities within an Agile environment.
Essential Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on manual testing experience
- 3+ years of hands-on automation testing/scripting experience
- 1+ year of hands-on Selenium experience
- 1+ year of hands-on C# or similar programming experience
- 1+ year of hands-on Salesforce testing experience
- Experience or interest in applying AI to software testing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Robust collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements
- Valid Australian work authorisation
- Ability to work minimum 2 days per week onsite at UTS Broadway Campus, Sydney
Highly Desirable
- ISTQB Foundation (ISTQB-F) certification
- Salesforce certification, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
- 1+ year of .NET experience
- Playwright experience
- Page Object Model (POM) and/or Dependency Injection (DI) experience
- Experience using SQL, XML and JSON for testing
- Experience using AI to generate first-draft test scripts and testing artefacts
Desirable
- ISTQB Test Automation Engineer (ISTQB-TTA) certification
- Higher education experience
- Atlassian JIRA experience
- SmartBear Zephyr experience
- Atlassian Confluence experience
- Postman and/or SoapUI experience
- Understanding of automation within a CI/CD pipeline
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile 6.0
