Kokoda Caravans
Caboolture
Own the Kokoda brand experience — online and in person.
Kokoda Caravans is looking for a Brand Engagement Curator to become the eyes, ears and voice of our brand.
This isn't just a social media role, and it isn't just a showroom role.
You'll help shape how people experience Kokoda — from the Meta ad that first catches their attention, to the Google search that brings them to our website, the Facebook conversation that follows, right through to the moment they walk into our Queensland Experience Centre.
You'll work closely with our On the Line Manager, Content Curator and Sales team to keep our brand active, engaging and consistent across Meta, Google, our website, social media, community groups and the Experience Centre itself.
We're looking for someone who understands the caravan and camping lifestyle. Someone who genuinely enjoys the outdoors, knows what travellers care about and can communicate with our audience naturally.
If you're the type of person who notices when a caravan isn't presented quite right, spots a question being asked repeatedly in a Facebook group, and wants to know why one campaign, page or piece of content performed better than another, we'd like to hear from you.
What you'll own
1. Digital Engagement: be part of the conversation
- Help manage Kokoda's presence across Facebook and Instagram
- Monitor and engage across relevant Facebook groups and caravan communities
- Respond to comments, questions and conversations in the Kokoda tone of voice
- Identify genuine sales enquiries and make sure they're passed to the right person
- Keep an eye on what caravan owners and buyers are talking about online
- Identify recurring questions, objections and topics that could become future content
- Build relationships with our online community rather than simply posting at them
- Help source and share customer stories and user-generated content
- Monitor audience sentiment and feed useful insights back to the wider team
2. Meta, Google & Digital: understand what's working
- Work across Meta advertising alongside the On the Line Manager
- Manage Meta campaign setup, monitoring and optimisation
- Review campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyse engagement, reach, enquiries, leads and other key performance data
- Use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, customer behaviour and how people are finding and interacting with Kokoda online
- Monitor key website pages and identify opportunities to improve traffic, engagement and conversions
- Track the customer journey from campaign or search through to website enquiry
- Monitor organic search performance and identify SEO opportunities
- Research relevant keywords and search trends within the caravan, camping and off-grid market
- Work with the wider marketing team to make sure website pages, blogs and content are optimised for search
- Look beyond surface-level numbers to understand what content, campaigns and website pages are actually connecting with people
- Track trends across paid campaigns, organic search,
social media and community conversations
- Turn data into practical recommendations for future campaigns, content and website improvements
- You don't need to be buried in spreadsheets all day — but you should genuinely enjoy understanding why something worked, where people are coming from and what we should do next.
- Help manage the social media calendar across Facebook and Instagram
- Work with the On the Line Manager to plan campaigns, launches, events and Experience Centre activity
- Schedule and publish approved content
- Make sure content remains relevant and consistent
- Identify opportunities for local content, customer stories and events
- Help ensure our organic content and paid campaigns work together
- Use social, search and website insights to help shape future content
- Keep an eye on emerging social and digital trends
4. Brand Experience: make Kokoda look the part
- Our Queensland Experience Centre is an extension of the Kokoda brand, and you'll help make sure it feels that way every day.
- Maintain high presentation standards throughout the Experience Centre
- Make sure display caravans are clean, styled, dressed and ready for customers
- Ensure signage, brochures, screens and marketing material are current and presented correctly
- Regularly walk through the space from a customer's perspective and identify anything that could be improved
- Help prepare the Experience Centre for campaigns, launches, events and customer appointments
- Work with the sales team to make sure the physical customer experience reflects the Kokoda brand
- Keep the space welcoming, organised and consistent
5. Community: live the lifestyle
- Kokoda isn't just selling caravans. We're part of a community of people who love travelling, camping and exploring Australia.
- We want someone who understands that world.
- Build genuine relationships with Kokoda owners and prospective customers
- Engage with caravan, camping and travel communities online
- Help uncover owner stories, destinations and experiences worth sharing
- Represent Kokoda at Experience Centre events, customer days and activations
- Understand what matters to people buying and travelling in an off-road caravan
- Bring ideas back to the business based on what you're hearing from the community
About you
You're equal parts brand person, community person and digital thinker.
You're comfortable talking to someone walking through the Experience Centre, replying to a Facebook comment and then sitting down to look at campaign or website performance.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, Facebook and Instagram
- An understanding of Meta advertising and campaign performance
- Experience with Google Analytics and interpreting website data
- A working understanding of SEO, keywords and organic search
- An understanding of how social, paid advertising, search and website activity work together
- Experience managing or contributing to a social media calendar
- Confidence analysing digital and social performance data
- A natural, friendly approach to customer and community engagement
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your area
- An instinct for protecting and presenting a brand consistently
- Confidence working across multiple priorities without needing to be constantly directed
- Most importantly, you genuinely understand and enjoy the caravan, camping or outdoor lifestyle.
- Maybe you caravan yourself. Maybe weekends mean camping, four-wheel-driving, fishing or exploring somewhere current.
- You don't need to know everything about Kokoda on day one — but you should understand the people we're talking to.
What success looks like
- Our Queensland Experience Centre always looks and feels unmistakably Kokoda
- Customers receive a consistent brand experience online and in person
- Facebook groups, comments and community conversations are actively monitored and engaged with
- Our social calendar is organised, relevant and consistent

- SEO opportunities are regularly identified and acted on
- Organic search visibility and relevant website traffic continue to improve
- Marketing receives useful insights about what customers are searching for, asking, saying and responding to

- The Queensland team and Melbourne marketing team operate as one brand
