Job Description

Due to exceptional growth and success, the RPS Project Management team are seeking a motivated and qualified client-side Senior Project Manager who has previous experience in successfully delivering infrastructure and capital projects within the Defence or government sectors.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Building and Construction, Infrastructure, Contract Management and Contract Administration, Government Approvals, Property Management and similar. This position is based in Townsville, with a high performing team, who is a market leader in project management and who specialise in the delivery of large complex projects.

About you

n

n
- A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Property, Engineering, or similar is desirable.
n
- Strong understanding and proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies, in particular, Head Contractor, Managing Contractor and Design and Construct is preferable;
n
- Previous experience across Defence capital projects, including Defence writing skills;
n
- Previous experience in Contract and Claims Administration;
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
n
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, teams and manage and grow business relationships;
n




- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner;
n
- Proactive and able to think strategically;
n
- Australian Citizen and able to successfully obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
n
- 10+ years client-side PM or a PMCA in the industries as mentioned above and familiarity with Defence delivery procedures including Commonwealth Procurement Rules (would be preferable, but not essential)
n
- AIPM Accreditation or equivalent would be advantageous.
