The Opportunity

CGC Recruitment is partnering with an established WA commercial and industrial builder seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the delivery team on a major $90m industrial development in Perth.

This is an prospect to play a key commercial role on a substantial, purpose-built energy and logistics facility, working alongside an experienced project team on a technically diverse build.

The Project

A major $90m industrial and energy logistics development incorporating large-scale warehousing, specialist operational facilities, commercial office space and extensive external works.

The project offers a diverse construction scope, with significant structural, civil, services and specialist subcontractor packages.

You'll gain exposure to the commercial management of a complex industrial development, rather than a conventional warehouse build.

The Role

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you'll be responsible for:

- Managing procurement and subcontractor packages from tender through to final account.
- Preparing and administering subcontract agreements.
- Managing variations,



progress claims and contractual correspondence
- Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasting.
- Identifying and managing commercial risks.
- Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the project team.
- Supporting the successful commercial delivery of this major development.

About You

- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator within commercial construction.
- Experience on projects valued at $10m+ will be highly regarded.
- Industrial, logistics or large-scale commercial project experience advantageous.
- Strong procurement, negotiation and cost-management skills.
- Confident managing subcontractor packages and commercial relationships.
- Ambitious, commercially astute and keen to take ownership of your work.
