Negotiable package offered to the right applicant.
At Best Practice Software, our vision is communities connected with care. We are achieving this through our mission to build a culture people love, where:
- We value customers,
- We work together for success,
- We are accountable for our actions,
- We innovate for the future, and
- We celebrate diversity and inclusion.
If you share our vision and values, please consider this exciting career opportunity to join our growing team in Brisbane, Queensland.
Do you love creating an organised, welcoming workplace and being the person who keeps everything running smoothly?
We are looking for a practical, organised and people-focused Workplace Services Coordinator to help us create a workplace where our people and visitors feel welcomed, supported and looked after. This is a part‑time role working 30 hours per week across five days, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for the balance of reduced hours while still being an important part of the workplace each day.
Based in Brisbane CBD, this is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days will necessarily look the same. You’ll help keep our workplace running smoothly, preparing meeting rooms, coordinating workplace services and suppliers, supporting events and current starters, managing supplies and helping with the everyday things that create a great workplace experience. This isn’t a role where you’ll be sitting behind a desk all day. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being visible, getting involved, helping people and taking pride in making sure things are organised and ready to go.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work closely with our People team and broader business to provide hands‑on support across our workplace.
This will include coordinating day‑to‑day workplace activities and logistics, keeping shared spaces organised, presentable and welcoming, setting up meeting and collaboration spaces, coordinating catering, supplies, mail, deliveries and couriers, supporting internal events, visitors and new starters, liaising with cleaners, suppliers and service providers, monitoring workplace supplies and amenities, and helping resolve those everyday workplace issues that inevitably pop up.
You will also be encouraged to spot opportunities to improve how we do things and help us continue building a great experience for our people.
About you
- You don’t necessarily need to have held the title of Workplace Services Coordinator before. We are more interested in finding the right person.
- You’ll be organised, approachable and dependable, with a genuine willingness to help. You’re someone who notices when something needs doing and takes ownership of getting it sorted.
- You’ll be comfortable juggling different priorities and moving between administrative work and practical, hands‑on tasks throughout your day.
- Experience in workplace coordination, office administration, facilities, hospitality, reception, customer service or a similar environment would be highly regarded.
- Most importantly,
you’ll take pride in what you do and understand that creating a great workplace often comes down to the small things being done consistently well.
The details
If you’re someone who loves being organised, enjoys helping people and gets genuine satisfaction from making things run smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.
