Education Data Consultant - International Schools

Most schools keep their data in many separate systems: the SIS, the LMS, assessment platforms, attendance, wellbeing, finance and others.

Intellischool is the AI data foundation for schools.

We connect those systems into one secure, governed data platform. School leaders and teachers can then use it for analytics, reporting and the AI tools their school chooses.

We're based in Melbourne. We work with K–12 schools across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States, and with international schools across Asia and Europe. This role will lead our work with international schools.

The Education Data Consultant role

You'll help international schools in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe get real use from their data. You'll look after the relationship, and you'll get hands‑on helping schools to build bespoke data tools.

You'll be the main contact for the schools you are assigned. The role combines two things.

Engagement

Build long‑term relationships with school leaders, data leads and IT teams, and own customer satisfaction from onboarding to renewal.

Guide new schools through onboarding with our Technical Support and Product teams.

Keep an eye on account health, spot risk to renewals early, and run annual reviews.

Train school staff online and in person, from leadership teams to classroom teachers.

Take school feedback to our product and engineering teams and keep schools updated on progress.

Data design and delivery

Run discovery workshops to find out which questions a school needs answered and what data it has to answer them.

Design and build custom dashboards in Metabase, Power BI, Tableau or similar, from wireframe to finished product.

Write SQL and shape data from different sources into clean, reliable datasets, working with our data engineers.

Document your work so each solution can be supported and repeated.





Teach staff how to read and act on the dashboards you build.

A day in the life of an Education Data Consultant

As with any start‑up role, no two days are the same. You might be:

Running a discovery workshop with a school in Singapore to map its MAP Growth and attendance data.

Building a prototype dashboard to show IB Diploma predicted and final grades over time.

Running an annual review with a head of school in Dubai and agreeing priorities for the year ahead.

Writing SQL to line up data exported from ManageBac and the school's SIS.

Running a training session for teachers on reading and interpreting a dashboard you've built.

Working with our support team to resolve a school's issue and keeping the school updated along the way.

What you'll need for success

We can only consider applicants who meet all of these:

At least 3 years working in or directly with international schools in Asia, the Middle East and/or Europe. This could be as a teacher, a data, assessment or curriculum lead, a school administrator, or in an edtech or vendor role serving international schools. Please say which schools and countries in your application.

Working knowledge of international curricula and their data. For example: IB (PYP, MYP, DP), IGCSE, A Level or AP, and assessments such as MAP Growth or CAT4.

Experience with the systems international schools use. For example: Veracross, ManageBac, iSAMS, PowerSchool, Toddle or similar.

Hands‑on dashboard and BI experience. You've built dashboards in Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Looker or a similar tool,



and you can write working SQL.

A proven record of training and coaching educators, including senior leaders.

Professional‑level written and spoken English.

Applications that don't show experience with international schools in these regions won't be considered.

Highly regarded:

Experience in customer success, account management or professional services at an edtech company.

Additional languages, especially Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Japanese, French or Arabic.

Experience with DAX, data modelling or workflow automation.

People who do well here are calm, organised and curious. You know how international schools work: the school year, what accreditation asks for, how busy leadership teams are, and how many systems staff juggle. You can explain a data model to a head of school as easily as you can build one. You're comfortable in a small, fast‑moving team.

This role pays a base salary of A$110,000–125,000 plus superannuation. On top of your base, you'll earn uncapped commission on the professional services fees you generate, commission on new business you win, and retention bonuses for the schools you keep with us. Solid performers can earn more than A$200,000 a year.
