nShanvi Painting is dedicated in providing the best quality painting for its Commercial, Strata and Residential clients. Our service is available 24 hours X 7 days a week including holidays. We service most of New South Wales, Canberra and Eastern & Southern Queensland. We provide skilled technical advice, design and colour selection assistance to help you meet project budgets and all other requirements you may need. Hence we need a Painter to undertake the following tasks: n

n1.Undertake all aspects of painting (high end new homes, residential repaints, commercial projects, strata community)n
n
n2.Ensuring area is safe and marked out before starting an workn
n
n3.Ability to produce top quality finishes including oil base enamelling.n
n
n4.Must effectively use brushes, rollers and sprays n
n
n5.Preparing surfaces for painting, filling nail holes, cracks and jointsn
n
n6.Removing fixtures and ensuring surrounding services are protectedn
n
n7.Responsible for the application of paint, varnish, stain, enamel or lacquer to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces,



trimmings and fixtures of buildings and other structures on site.n
n
n8.Responsible for preparing paints to required colour by mixing portions of pigment, oil and thinning n
n
n9.Restoration of period homes: spray finish enamel work, wallpapering; and rendering and plastering wallsn
n
n10.Cleaning and storing equipment and maintaining premises in a tidy conditionn
n
n11.Removal or waste and recyclable itemsn
n
n12.Ensuring a safe work practice in line with company policies and proceduresn
n
n13.Strong knowledge of all correct preparation techniques.n
n
n14.Interact and communicate with clients/builders/other trades.n
n
n15.Sound product knowledge of an array of paints/materials on the market.n
n
n16.Be able to read/interpret plans.n
n
nSkills Required:n
n
nAppropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:n
n
nEducation: Cert III + at least 2 years of on job training or Cert IV or Diploma andn
nExperience: At least 1 year of highly relevant experiencen
n
nOR n
n
nAt least 3 years of highly relevant experience if no formal qualificationn
n
nSkills: n
