Downer has recently been awarded the Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland, and we are looking for full time and casual Security Guard to join our team at Green Hills Town Centre.

Available Full-time roster:

Monday - Thursday 14:00 - 22:00 & Sunday 9am - 17:00

These positions are paid in accordance with the Security Services Industry Award, with applicable penalty rates for night shifts and weekends.

What your day will look like:

- Monitoring the premises and conducting regular patrols
- Controlling site access and managing visitors, contractors and deliveries
- Responding promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms and emergencies
- Providing general assistance while maintaining a visible and approachable presence
- Identifying and reporting suspicious activity, hazards and maintenance issues
- Maintaining accurate records,



following procedures and liaising with relevant services when required

What you'll bring:

- Certificate II in Security Operations (mandatory); Certificate III in Security Operations is desirable
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (mandatory)
- Current Working with Children Check (mandatory)
- Experience monitoring CCTV, alarms and access control systems
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on de-escalation
