Strategic Security Solutions' is seeking to hire a dedicated Security Officer/Crowd Controller for a casual position based in and around Perth, WA 6000. As a Security Officer/Crowd Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' premises and events. What you'll be doing
- Conducting security patrols and monitoring CCTV to detect and report any suspicious activities or potential threats
- Controlling access to the premises by checking identification and managing the entry and exit of visitors
- Providing crowd control and security services at venues, events, festivals, and other functions
- Responding to alarms and emergencies, and taking appropriate actions to ensure the safety of employees and the public
- Maintaining detailed logs and reports of all incidents and activities during your shifts
- Collaborating with the management team and other security personnel to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of security services
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a security or crowd control role, preferably in the Hospitality & Services industry
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- A valid security license or certification, or the willingness to obtain one
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Thorough knowledge of security procedures, risk assessment, and emergency response protocols
- Reliable and punctual, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
