About The Client Our client is a leading provider of electronic security systems, delivering high-quality security solutions across a diverse range of commercial and industrial sectors throughout Western Australia. With an established reputation for exceptional service and over 1,000 clients serviced annually, the business continues to grow and invest in its people, technology and customer relationships. About The Position Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Security Service Technician will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and programming a range of electronic security systems across commercial client sites. This is a varied role suited to an experienced Security Technician who enjoys working autonomously, solving technical problems and delivering a high standard of customer service.
The position is Perth-based, with occasional regional travel for installations and servicing, as well as an on-call rotation approximately every 68weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and fault-find electronic security systems
- Install, service and program CCTV camera systems
- Service and program Gallagher security systems
- Work with Integriti, Tecom, CCTV, networking and intercom systems
- Diagnose technical faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct installations, upgrades and preventative maintenance
- Provide professional service and technical support to customers
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records
- Work independently while contributing to a supportive technical team
- Participate in an on-call roster approximately every 68 weeks
- Undertake occasional regional travel for installations and servicing
Skills And Experience
- Proven experience installing and servicing CCTV and electronic security systems
- Class 2 Security Installer Licence essential
- Experience with Gallagher systems essential
- Experience with Integriti and/or Tecom highly regarded
- Robust CCTV and networking knowledge
- Experience with intercom systems
- Experience with Indigo, Avigilon, Geutebruck, Genetec or Milestone CCTV systems highly regarded
- Valid Cablers Licence with relevant endorsements
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance
- Valid recent Drug & Alcohol test
- White Card desirable, but can be obtained upon successful selection
- Strong communication, organisation and customer service skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage service requirements independently
- Reliable, team-oriented and committed to delivering a high standard of workmanship
