We are looking for highly experienced football (soccer) and futsal coaches to join our NSW team.

We operate in Sydney's Beverly Hills.

Who we are:

We are a football and futsal academy focused on creating world-class players and 'developing players for life'.

Our vision is to develop better players and better people through real connection and quality coaching. We will do this by inspiring, entertaining, and educating our players.

The SDB Academy commenced in Australia in 2010 with 2 coaches and 4 players. Since then we have coached 1000's of players through our curriculum.

Our core values are

- Connection
- Integrity
- Teamwork
- Effort
- Believe
- Growth

Our brand and reputation as a performance-based academy and for quality player development is growing. We need positive people on board to support our vision. Our programs are delivered in line with our football and futsal curriculums and we stay true to our Brazilian way of teaching and playing Jogo Bonito.

As an SDB Academy coach you will be required to:

- deliver high-level football and futsal coaching sessions and game day coaching, including assessing players
- contribute to the ongoing development of the coaching curriculum so that SDB remains innovative and an industry leader in player development
- commit to developing yourself as a coach through our coaching education framework
- inspire players to love training and playing the game
- assist in building squads for competition.

To be an SDB Academy coach you will have:

- the love of football and futsal
- the ability to 'connect' with our players to motivate and inspire them
- experience in coaching children ages 6-16 years in football and futsal
- Experience in coaching children in either football or futsal is acceptable for this position though the preference is for both.

- minimum 2-3 years of coaching experience with children under 16
- the ability to run coaching sessions independently
- qualifications (minimum C licence) in football coaching
- qualifications in futsal coaching
- minimum Level 1 certificate in futsal coaching
- the ability to speak english
- the values of development, integrity, teamwork, excellence, creativity, humility, and accountability
- a Working with Children Check
- access to reliable transport
- Flexibility to work at any of our NSW training centres
- the ability to live and work in Australia for a minimum of 12 months
- Valid work visa or appropriate work rights to live and work in Australia.

Our people love working for the SDB Academy because:

- we look after our people
- we inspire our people (staff and players) to be better
- we invest in the development of our people
- our people dreamt of a life in football and we make it reality
- we inspire creative thinking

We focus on creating a pathway for players from 3-16 years of age and run the following programs:
- Futsal development
- Football development
- School holiday clinics
- 1on1 and small group sessions
- Tournaments (nationally and internationally)

This role is challenging, so don't apply if you think it is just about running training sessions. You need to have a passion for making positive impacts on the lives of children through football. The hard work is in developing every player of all levels, to make them love the sport and to inspire them to play with joy. We pride ourselves in being 100% compliant with Australian laws. Remuneration includes superannuation at the statutory rates. Working with children checks are required. The SDB Academy prides itself on being a child-safe organisation.

We look forward to discussing your potential career in soccer!
