Our client is a leading resources company with an enviable operating mining portfolio across Queensland. The existing operations together with the strategy for growth has resulted in the opportunity to join the team as Principal - Tenures Management to manage and optimise their mining portfolio.

About the Role A demonstrated expert in your field, you will take the lead on tenures for the company. You will have the opportunity to lead tenure projects, ranging in complexity and across various stages of approvals, as well as all existing tenure portfolios, ensuring compliance obligations and project milestones are met. Your understanding of relevant Qld Mining Acts, policy and industry insights will be key to your success.

Fostering a culture of accountability, the role will also oversee tenement governance, risk management, statutory reporting and project management. Delivery through robust systems and tracking programs will be essential to the role.

About You

You are tertiary qualified in a related discipline, and bring a wealth of experience across the compliance and regulatory frameworks managing tenements or working as part of a team in a similar role in the resources industry.



Your approach to delivery through your team work, collaboration with consultants and technical experts will see you well placed to deliver in the role.

Our client is open to a range of experience and looking for a outstanding fit to the team where you will have the opportunity to leverage your team approach (sharing ideas, participating in projects etc) as well as your communication (liaison with key internal and external stakeholders) and of course reporting.
