About The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll join the Delivery team with a clear focus on AML and regulatory change. You'll turn evolving obligations into practical business requirements and technology solutions, shaping how the organisation onboards and screens its clients. Working in an Agile model alongside project managers, developers and testers, you'll also help grow the capability of other BAs in the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret AML and regulatory change, translating obligations into transparent business requirements and workable technology solutions
- Drive remediation initiatives, from analysing gaps in client records and controls through to delivering lasting fixes
- Map and redesign complex client onboarding journeys, embedding screening and due diligence requirements
- Break requirements into sprint ready user stories with sharp acceptance criteria, keeping the backlog prioritised in JIRA
- Act as the key link between compliance, operations, technology and testing teams throughout delivery
- Support test planning, walk stakeholders through solutions and help embed new processes through demos and training
- Mentor fellow analysts and contribute to improving the team's delivery practices
About You
- Proven track record translating regulatory or AML change into business requirements and technology outcomes
- Hands on experience delivering remediation projects within a financial institution
- Solid grasp of complex onboarding processes alongside AML and client screening requirements
- Background in wealth management or the broader financial services sector
- Confident stakeholder manager who builds trust with compliance, business and technology audiences alike
- Comfortable with Agile delivery, process mapping, JIRA and Confluence
- Exposure to core wealth or banking platforms is a bonus
