Pay Rate: Competitive Hourly Rate + Super

Hours: Part-time Temporary Opportunity | Approx. 3 days per week initially (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday preferred)

Flexibility: Opportunity for additional hours as event activity increases throughout peak trading periods.

WOW Recruitment is partnering with a well-established hospitality group operating multiple premium Sydney venues. We’re seeking a proactive and organised Functions & Marketing Coordinator to support a busy Head Office team during an exciting period of growth and change.

This is a unique chance to combine functions, events and marketing coordination in a highly visible role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership while helping deliver memorable guest experiences across a portfolio of venues.

The Role n

This is a varied, hands‑on position responsible for coordinating functions and events while supporting day‑to‑day marketing activity across the group.

Functions & Events n

n
- Manage function and event enquiries from initial enquiry through to booking confirmation
n
- Prepare proposals, quotations and event documentation
n
- Coordinate venue inspections and client meetings
n




- Liaise with venue teams to ensure seamless event delivery
n
- Maintain booking systems and enquiry pipelines
n
- Build relationships with corporate and repeat clients
n

Marketing & Content nn
- Coordinate social media content across multiple venues
n
- Capture venue content including reels, stories and short‑form video
n
- Assist with venue promotions and seasonal campaigns
n
- Create and schedule social media content
n
- Coordinate EDMs and website updates
n
- Work with external designers, photographers and marketing suppliers
n

Who We’re Looking For nn
- 2+ years experience in hospitality, events, venue coordination or marketing
n
- Robust organisational and stakeholder management skills
n
- Experience managing enquiries, bookings or client relationships
n
- Social media and content creation experience
n
- Confident working across multiple priorities and deadlines
n
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work autonomously
n
- Hospitality experience highly regarded
n
- Experience with Canva, Adobe, EDM platforms or website updates is advantageous
n
