Account Manager - Gold Coast / Brisbane South

Dore Electrics is seeking an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of a well-established and mature customer base spanning the Southern Suburbs through to the Gold Coast, and east into the Bay area. Reporting and supported by the Regional Sales Manager QLD, this is a critical sales role within the business, offering the right person genuine autonomy to manage, grow, and develop a strong existing Territory. You'll be stepping into a patch with real history and strong relationships already in place, your job is to protect and build on that foundation while actively hunting for new business.

Key responsibilities

Managing and growing a mature, established customer base across the Southern Suburbs, Gold Coast, and Northern NSW sales area, servicing HVAC, Switchboard Builders, Electrical Contractors and End Users

Building genuine, long-term relationships with existing accounts to protect and grow revenue

Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the territory

Quote customers as required and follow up

Understanding customer needs and providing tailored electrical product solutions

Working closely with internal sales, procurement, and product teams to deliver for your customers

Staying on top of market trends and competitor activity in the patch

About you

Proven experience in an Account Manager or similar sales role within the electrical industry (essential)





Trade or Engineering background in Electricalor Electronics would be an advantage

Strong technical knowledge in the electrical / automation components

A track record of managing and growing customer relationships

Strong local knowledge of the Southern Suburbs, Gold Coast, and Bay area region highly regarded

Self-motivated, with a genuine drive to hunt new business while nurturing existing accounts

Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

Based on the Southside of Brisbane or Gold Coast vicinities

A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the territory
